Will I ever have 100% ownership of a coin? Yes you can start by purchasing a 1% portion of a coin and gradually purchase similar portions in the future when it becomes available. Once a 100% portion has been obtained the coin will be made available to you for full ownership.

How many portions of a coin may I purchase? Hundred (100) - each portion is equal to 1% of the value of a coin. INVESTGOLD allocates certain coins to the Co-Ownership Plan of which portions are made available for sale.

Can I get involved in any coin dealer's Co-Ownership Plan? To our knowledge, INVESTGOLD is the only coin dealer in South Africa allowing clients to purchase small portions of coins through the so-called Co-Ownership Plan. Clients are advised to deal only with reputable SAAND members.

How do I purchase a portion? You enter into an agreement with INVESTGOLD called the INVESTGOLD Co-Ownership Plan. This agreement will result in an account being opened in your name. Every time you wish to purchase a portion, your broker will forward a quotation for your approval.

How is the price of a portion determined? A percentage of a portion is directly linked to the value of such percentage of the selling price of the coin. The same is applicable on the buying price of a portion.
